Job Summary
Compliance Assistant
TriStarr’s client, a well-established non-profit located in downtown Lancaster, is looking for a Compliance Assistant like you to join their team!
COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will assist the Compliance Manager to ensure that programs and activities funded with state and federal assistance are consistent and in compliance with requirements.
- You will assist the Compliance Manager with the preparation of compliance worksheets.
- You will assist in monitoring program regulations & bring issues to the supervisor’s attention.
- You will monitor activities in HUD systems and notify appropriate party of specific follow up, if needed.
- You will coordinate annual tenant file monitoring inspections (scheduling, notification, & follow-up).
- You will track/update Rent/Income Limits for Federally funded programs & send updates to stakeholders.
- You will assist with payroll compliance to support public improvements and other programs as needed.
- You will ensure completeness of program files, including copies of executed contracts, monthly reports, audits, correspondence and annual reports.
- You will review third party annual financial loan audits of agencies and housing.
- You will monitor, on an on-going basis, completed rental housing projects in accordance with terms and conditions established in the project loan agreement.
- You will review and upload environmental reviews for projects using federal funding as per regulations and data management and input.
- You will update/organize internal files/documents (handbooks, policy/procedure manuals, letter templates.
- You will assist w/ compliance of state funded programs for which the organization acts as the Grantee.
- You will perform other duties as assigned.
COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- You have an Associates degree and/or relevant Administrative Support Specialist experience.
- Your experience with HUD compliance is a plus.
- You have computer skills (MS Office, PowerPoint, database software, & cloud-based file mgmt.)
- You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You can clearly communicate, both orally (including public speaking) and in writing.
- You can work as part of a team and establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, municipal officials, and non-profit organizations.

START DATE: asap, pending interviews
SALARY RANGE: $43k – $50k
HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm, 7:30am – noon on Fridays
