TriStarr’s client, an esteemed Lancaster County law firm, is seeking a talented Billing Coordinator to join their team. You will be responsible for compiling, managing, and executing attorney billing and perform a variety of other accounting and bookkeeping duties. 

BILLING COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • You will be responsible for monthly attorney time integration.
  • You will create and print final client billing and monthly reports.
  • You will perform billing edits as requested from attorneys and legal assistants.
  • You will review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation.
  • You will answer incoming calls and correspondence from clients and attorneys regarding billing inquiries.
  • You will create and adhere to billing schedules and firm policies.
  • You will execute complex bills in a timely manner.
  • You will assist with daily deposit and application of incoming payments.
  • You will apply retainer funds as directed.
  • You will process write-offs.
  • You will review monthly reports to identify overdue billing or collections and contact the client on past due receivables.
  • You will assume responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of all financial and systems-related information.
  • You will perform other duties as assigned.

BILLING COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS:
 

  • You have a High School Diploma/GED and your college degree is preferred.
  • You are proficient in mathematical calculations and skillful operation of computers, including MS Office and AdobePro.
  • You have effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • You have strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent attention to detail.
  • You are proficient in office practices, procedures, machines, and equipment.
  • You have knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, punctuation, and legal terminology.
  • You have strong composition skills for correspondence and reports.
  • You can maintain composure during stressful situations, especially when workloads and deadlines are demanding.
  • You have diplomacy/discretion in handling info., directing staff, & interfacing w/ attorneys.
  • You can prioritize effectively.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temp to Perm
START DATE: asap, pending interviews

PAY RATE: $24-$29/hr.
HOURS: M-F, 30-37.5 hrs./wk.

DRESS CODE: Business casual
