One of TriStarr’s client’s based in Bainbridge, PA is searching for a part-time Office Assistant to support overall office operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and attention to detail. This candidate should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to management.
Responsibilities:
- Advise the General Manager of time-sensitive and high priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Prepare memos, invoices, reports, and related documents.
- Maintain internal and external email and address directories, both paper and electronic.
- Sort and distribute mail.
- Maintain office supplies inventory by anticipating needs and ordering in a timely manner.
- Send sales reports to landlords and calculate rent owed.
- Scan invoices to the server and send them to the outsourced accounting department.
- Collect and verify credit card receipts and reconcile credit card statements
- Answer phones and route incoming calls.
- Fulfill retail shop restocking orders.
- Take and process customer orders.
- Process and record of donation requests
- Prepare staff supply boxes and other information as needed for Summerfest.
- Facilitate good company-wide communication.
- Assist managers with various duties and projects as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in an administrative role, with some time reporting directly to management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proofread content; identifying and correcting grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, other office productivity tools, and an eagerness to learn new software and systems.
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be willing to work at their summer festival as needed.
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Hours: 11-5pm, daily
Benefits: 401k matching, employee discount (upon perm hire)
Pay: $20hr
