TriStarr's client is looking for an Electrical and/ or HVAC Project Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing commercial and industrial projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Their duties include dividing up their budget for different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary, setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Proficient in project management software (preferred), MS Office (including Excel), and estimating software for small projects and change orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with contract documents, drawings, specifications, addendums, and change orders.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to provide own transportation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and customer-focused work environment while building and managing client relationships.
• Overseeing project schedules, budgets, technical requirements, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinating with site superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Preparing proposals, attending job meetings, and conducting end-of-project evaluations to improve future processes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Mix of office and on-site work environments.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and moving equipment.
• Travel to job sites required.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5 years of HVAC or Electrical experience required.
• 3 years of Project Management experience required.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Permanent, full-time.
START DATE: Asap (pending interviews)
PAY RATE: $110,000 – $130,000 annually.
HOURS: Full-time; typical schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexibility as needed to meet project deadlines.
DRESS CODE: Business casual; appropriate PPE required on-site.
