Our client, a well-established and growing construction company in Lancaster County is looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Project Administrative Assistant. What You’ll Do:

Preparing and processing project documents such as contracts, change orders, RFIs, AIAs, meeting minutes, close-out documentation, and correspondence.

Assisting the Project Manager during critical phases like bid days.

Coordinating with external partners to collect and verify necessary paperwork.

Handling basic project accounting tasks, including invoice processing, joint checks, and tracking stored materials.

Setting up and maintaining both digital and physical filing systems according to Wohlsen standards.

Answering phones, taking messages, and scheduling appointments with professionalism.

Keeping the project team aligned by organizing tasks and ensuring smooth communication.

Prioritizing time and responsibilities to meet project goals effectively.

Collaborating with colleagues in a team-focused environment.
Additional Responsibilities (as needed):

Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment.

Managing mail distribution and shipping needs (FedEx, UPS, etc.).

Overseeing postage and coordinating with building security.
-
Welcoming guests and providing support at the front desk or switchboard.

Occasionally traveling to job sites or other offices and transporting materials.

Other duties subject to business needs.
What You Bring to the Table:

A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or construction-related office environment.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and electronic—with a friendly and professional phone manner.

A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
The Details:

Start Date: ASAP (following interviews)

Compensation: $22–$25/hour, based on experience

Job Type: Temporary (6 months w/ potential for temp-perm)

Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional visits to project sites (may include job trailer environments). Must be comfortable lifting and moving materials like drawings and files.
