Our client, a well-established retirement community in Lititz, PA, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR Assistant to temporarily support their Human Resources department. This role is primarily administrative and clerical in nature, with a strong focus on data entry, file management, and general HR support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize personnel files and employee records
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into HR systems
- Prepare, file, and manage HR-related documents and forms
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining calendars
- Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct questions to appropriate HR staff
- Help coordinate logistics for new hire orientation and internal meetings
- Perform additional clerical duties as needed, including scanning, copying, and mail distribution
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of administrative or office support experience preferred; exposure to HR is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS/ATS experience a plus
- Professional, patient, and discreet with a positive attitude
Details:
- Pay Rate: $18–22/hr.
- Schedule: Part-time, 9am–2pm or 10am–3pm (24 hours per week)
