We’re seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Premium Assistance & Billing Analyst to join our team supporting the Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS). In this role, you'll help retirees get the healthcare support they need by managing critical data in our systems and ensuring smooth, accurate billing processes.
What You’ll Do:

Maintain and update Premium Assistance (PA) data in the V3 system and billing records in Market Prominence (MP)

Review and process applications for Premium Assistance from PSERS retirees

Respond to inquiries from members regarding PA benefits, eligibility, and changes
-
Process terminations, plan adjustments, and changes related to PA and billing
-
Coordinate and complete the annual PA verification process with school districts across the state

Communicate with clients to resolve member issues and participate in periodic system testing

Update systems with new enrollments and plan changes for Health Options Program (HOP) members
What You’ll Bring:

High school diploma or GED required

At least 1 year of experience in medical insurance or healthcare billing

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Location: Remote, but must be located in Pennsylvania for payroll purposes
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Pay: $20–$23/hour, depending on experience
