Join Our Client's Team as an Intake Coordinator!
We’re looking for an organized and customer-focused Intake Coordinator to manage inquiries from employees, providers, and clients regarding insurance pre-certifications, benefit verification, and other healthcare-related services for our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to calls and faxes, determine the reason for inquiries, and route them appropriately.
- Review faxes for clinical criteria, assist with pre-certifications, discharge planning, and case management.
- Advise on certification requirements and connect callers with the benefits department when needed.
- Accurately collect demographic and medical coding information (CPT, HCPS, Diagnosis Codes) and enter into the system.
- Make outbound calls for clinical information and discharge dates.
- Assist with voicemail transcription, case verification, and quality improvement tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medical office, insurance, and/or call center experience a plus!
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely within the general Lancaster County, PA area.
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home with a high-speed internet connection

Pay Rate: $20/hour
Start Date: November 4, 2024
Hours: 8am-4pm for a 6-week training, then 10am-6:30pm, 10:30am-7pm, or 11:30am-8pm (37.5 hours/week)
