TriStarr’s client, a well-established, family-owned financial group based in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support bookkeeping and accounting functions as part of their growing team. This role offers flexibility, a professional and collegial work environment, and the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in a hands-on accounting capacity.
The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle accounting experience, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online, and the ability to hit the ground running with minimal training.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

Perform bank reconciliations and record journal entries

Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting

Analyze account activity and provide meaningful financial insights

Work extensively in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry accounting standards
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or relevant accounting experience

Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required

Location: Lancaster, PA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $25-28/hour *possibility of higher wages depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Full Time- 40 hrs/week)
