TriStarr's client, an established nonprofit organization in Lancaster, is seeking a full-time Development Coordinator to play a pivotal role in advancing the organization's development initiatives. This position supports key functions such as CRM and gift management, fundraising, donor cultivation, and revenue growth. The Development Coordinator will be instrumental in coordinating and supporting fundraising operations, building and nurturing donor relationships, and managing essential administrative tasks within the development department to help drive the mission forward.
Essential job junctions:
- Support the Advancement Director in various development initiatives.
- Maintain CRM and donation databases.
- Identify potential new donors through prospect research and cultivation.
- Execute donor acknowledgements to support moves-management growth.
- Build expertise in CRM and revenue reporting.
- Play a key role in organizing donor events.
- Serve as backup for communications and social media staff.
- Receive and process all donations including cash, check, stock gift, ACH, donor advised fund, and online transactions; enter transactions into CRM.
- Manage CRM and donation software such as Bloomerang Fundraising, Kindful, and future software tools.
- Coordinate the process for documentation and tracking of donors and gift transactions.
- Oversee the gift acknowledgement process and participate in moves-management growth initiatives.
- Serve as reporting expert by creating reports upon request and to support fundraising initiatives.
- Coordinate donor meetings and/or events.
- Conduct prospect research and draft lead and donor profiles.
- Coordinate volunteers assisting with fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with the finance contractor to create gift reports.
- Play a lead role in organizing special events.

Education and Work Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in development, sales, database/CRM management, and/or fundraising (essential).
- Proficiency with technology including MS Office Suite, CRM software, and marketing and social media automation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, communications, and donor moves management (preferred).
- Previous experience in a non-profit organization (required); experience in a fast-paced, multi-faceted nonprofit environment (preferred).

Schedule: Full-Time (M-F) 8am-5pm
Location: Lancaster- Onsite
Salary: $58k-$60k Annually
