Our client, a non-profit organization located in Lancaster City, PA, is looking for a Customer Service Specialist who’s passionate about making a positive difference in families’ lives. This position supports their Nutrition team in delivering family-centered care that truly impacts the community.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and over the phone using a multi-line phone system, and respond to all voicemail messages
- Schedule appointments and process online applications for families
- Verify eligibility and income, ensuring accurate benefits distribution
- Greet clients, complete check-ins, and issue electronic benefits
- Maintain proficiency in the breastfeeding curriculum and promote a breastfeeding-friendly environment in all clinics
- Assist with flexible clinic assignments and community referrals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of customer service or related experience; WIC experience preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and maintain confidentiality

- Job Type: Temp-Perm
- Pay: $17/hour
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm; Friday 8:00am – 1:30pm; 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month 10:30am – 7:00pm
- Location: Lancaster City, PA, on-site only
