TriStarr is partnering with a client to hire a Part-Time Front Desk / Receptionist for a large, multi-unit business building. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the go-to resource in a professional setting—welcoming tenants and visitors, keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, and supporting a steady mix of administrative and customer-facing tasks. In this role, you’ll be central to tenant onboarding, access/key management, mail and package coordination, vendor communication, and ongoing front desk support.
Key Responsibilities / What You’ll Do
- Welcome tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors; answer phones and respond to general inquiries
- Support tenant onboarding and maintain accurate tenant directories and contact lists
- Manage building access items (access keys, mailbox keys, vehicle stickers) and administer the key card system
- Coordinate mail and packages (mail room organization, package notifications, past-tenant mail handling)
- Track records including key cards, call box/mailbox details, parking activity, and Certificates of Insurance
- Accept rent checks, maintain payment records, and forward documentation to accounting
- Maintain a daily activity log and provide a weekly Friday report to management
- Coordinate building-wide communications and help produce a quarterly newsletter
- Partner with maintenance and vendors (cleaning, pest control, vending, repairs) to support tenant needs
- Manage meeting suite reservations, scheduling, billing, and paperwork
- Monitor security cameras and report concerns to management
- Provide general administrative support and keep an organized front desk/coverage folder
Qualifications / What We’re Looking For
- Prior front desk, administrative, or customer service experience (property/building environment is a plus)
- Professional, welcoming presence with strong communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, recordkeeping, and follow-through
- Comfortable working independently and prioritizing in a steady-flow environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to use/learn building systems (access management, calendars, etc.)
- Microsoft Publisher skills are a plus (newsletter support)
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required
Why Join the Team?
This is a stable, people-facing role where you’ll become a trusted point of contact for tenants and visitors while supporting building operations. If you enjoy variety, staying organized, and helping others, this role offers a great fit.
