In this role, you’ll help ensure benefit eligibility information is accurate and up to date, while supporting members, brokers, and internal partners through timely, professional communication.
Key Responsibilities / What You’ll Do
- Review, interpret, enter, process, and audit enrollments, terminations, and eligibility changes
- Maintain eligibility work queues and meet turnaround expectations
- Resolve eligibility errors, discrepancies, and audit report findings
- Request ID cards, process proof-of-coverage requests, and audit dependent eligibility as needed
- Support COBRA continuation paperwork and ongoing maintenance within required timelines
- Respond to phone, written, and electronic inquiries and document interactions thoroughly
- Partner with third-party administrators/vendors to update coverage information
Qualifications / What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong data entry accuracy, organization, and multitasking skills
- Professional verbal/written communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Secure, reliable high-speed internet and a HIPAA-compliant workspace for remote work as needed
- Preferred: benefits eligibility/enrollment experience; COBRA/FMLA/LOA exposure; strong Microsoft Office skills
