If you’re detail-driven and enjoy helping people get the right coverage at the right time, this Technical Eligibility Analyst opportunity could be a great fit. In this role, you’ll keep membership/eligibility information accurate and up to date, support questions from members and clients, and help ensure changes are processed correctly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities / What You’ll Do
- Review, interpret, enter, and audit eligibility enrollments, terminations, and changes
- Resolve eligibility errors, discrepancies, and audit findings
- Maintain organized records and trackers for enrollment activity
- Coordinate updates with third-party administrators/vendors as needed
- Support ID card requests and proof-of-coverage requests
- Assist with eligibility-related reporting and testing of file loads/updates
- Respond to phone, email, and written eligibility inquiries; document and follow up through resolution
- Support COBRA continuation paperwork and ongoing eligibility maintenance (per required timelines)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications / What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Eligibility experience (at least 6 months; 1+ year preferred)
- Strong data entry skills and high attention to detail
- Professional communication skills and customer-service mindset
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Reliable high-speed internet and a HIPAA-compliant, secure workspace (able to work distraction-free)
- Microsoft Office skills (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote); EDI/834 experience is a plus
