HR Director

What You’ll Do
- Lead daily HR operations including employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration
- Ensure legal compliance with employment laws and coordinate Title IX responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for faculty, staff, and students
- Partner with leadership on talent development, organizational culture, and strategic growth
- Handle payroll, contract management, and financial oversight related to HR activities
Qualifications / What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; Master’s or HR certification preferred
- 7+ years of HR experience, including supervisory roles
- Experience in a small college, arts, or nonprofit environment is a plus
- Strong knowledge of HR management, employment law, and Title IX
- Excellent communication, organization, and discretion skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations and handle confidential information with care
