HR Director

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily HR operations including employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration
• Ensure legal compliance with employment laws and coordinate Title IX responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for faculty, staff, and students
• Partner with leadership on talent development, organizational culture, and strategic growth
• Handle payroll, contract management, and financial oversight related to HR activities

Qualifications / What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; Master’s or HR certification preferred
• 7+ years of HR experience, including supervisory roles
• Experience in a small college, arts, or nonprofit environment is a plus
• Strong knowledge of HR management, employment law, and Title IX
• Excellent communication, organization, and discretion skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations and handle confidential information with care
