This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a caring attitude to support families accessing vital childcare programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine eligibility and redetermination for subsidized childcare programs based on DHS policies
- Conduct personal interviews with parents and caretakers to gather necessary information
- Update family case records accurately and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with internal departments and partner programs to ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide clear information to families and providers about funding availability and eligibility criteria
- Maintain organized workflows, meet deadlines, and continuously improve processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Social Services or related field, or a diploma with 2+ years of human services experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, coupled with excellent attention to detail, enabling effective and productive interactions with a diverse population of internal and external clients.
- Ability to interpret policies and manage sensitive information discreetly
- Previous experience in customer support or case management preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred

- Job Type: Temp-Perm
- Pay / Salary: $17-$19/hr.
- Hours / Schedule: FT; 8:30am-5pm with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Location: Lebanon, PA. On-site (business casual dress code)
