Administrative/Bookkeeping Assistant (Part-Time)
Our client, a local nonprofit organization located in Lancaster, PA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Administrative/Bookkeeping Assistant to support the Executive Director with a variety of clerical, financial, and organizational duties. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with flexible scheduling and the potential for long-term placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide bookkeeping support, including data entry into QuickBooks and generating financial reports.
- Perform general clerical and administrative tasks to support the Executive Director.
- Assist with fundraising appeals and preparation of the annual report.
- Draft and follow up on written correspondence with donors.
- Compile and present monthly cash reports for the Board of Directors.
- Assist with public event planning and provide on-site event support as needed.
- Help maintain the organization’s website and social media platforms.
- Prepare summaries and other documents as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related administrative and bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of office procedures and standard business communications.
- Energetic, dedicated, and supportive attitude toward executive leadership.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with social media and website management is preferred.
- Must demonstrate discretion and professionalism with sensitive information.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.

Details:
- Pay Rate: $20–$25/hr., depending on experience
- Schedule: 15 to 20 hours/week; additional hours may be required for events
- Dress Code: Business Casual
