Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Temporary Payroll and Benefits Assistant to support their HR department in day-to-day operations. This role will play a key part in maintaining HR records, supporting the recruitment process, coordinating employee benefits as they enter open enrollment, and assisting with payroll administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

 What You’ll Do:

• Keep their payroll and benefits humming like a well-oiled machine
• Be the go-to for HR coordination, documentation, and employee support
• Juggle calendars, support onboarding, and assist with compliance like a pro
• Stay organized, stay sharp — and most of all, stay passionate about supporting the team

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of administrative or HR support experience, with a focus on benefits and payroll
• Fantastic organization skills and attention to detail
• A calm, friendly presence in a fast-moving world
• Familiarity with HR systems
• A backstage-pass-level appreciation for creativity, collaboration, and innovation

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temporary (4-8 weeks with the possibility of extension for the right candidate)

START DATE: asap, pending interviews

SALARY RANGE: $24-26/hr, depending on experience

HOURS: Full-time, Monday through Friday

DRESS CODE: Business casual
