We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our client’s team. A nationally recognized professional services firm in the legal field located in Lancaster, PA. I

In this role, you will support the HR Department by handling a variety of HR-related tasks and assisting with business operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support other members of the HR Department with day-to-day tasks.
  • Proofread, edit, and format HR and business documents.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department.
  • Perform background checks and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Craft CVs for internal and external personnel as needed.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, and organizing company events.
  • Organize, file, and maintain personnel materials and HR records.
  • Conduct HR-related and general business research.
  • Assist with HR compliance reporting.
  • Respond to internal and external HR inquiries.
  • Answer phones and perform general administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of administrative experience; prior HR experience is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, data entry, and file management skills.
  • Strong editing and proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to quickly compile relevant information.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temp-Hire
START DATE: ASAP (pending interviews)
PAY RATE: $22-$24/hr. (depending on experience)
HOURS: M-F, 8:00am–5:00pm
DRESS CODE: Business Casual
LOCATION: Lancaster, PA (onsite)
