Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys keeping financial operations running smoothly? We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established wholesale distribution company in Lancaster, PA. This fully on-site, full-time role offers the opportunity to manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, support organizational operations, and contribute to the financial accuracy and integrity of a small, tight-knit team.

What You’ll Do

As the Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting essential accounting functions. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily bookkeeping activities using Sage 100

  • Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

  • Assisting with maintaining accurate inventory counts

  • Processing bi-weekly payroll

  • Processing monthly commissions

  • Completing monthly account reconciliations

  • Maintaining organized financial records and documentation

  • Assisting with annual benefits renewals

  • Supporting the company’s accountant with tax preparation and reporting

  • Performing additional bookkeeping duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, high accuracy, and a reliable work ethic. Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience working in an office environment
  • 1–3 years of experience with Sage 100
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple financial tasks independently
  • Professional integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

Job Details

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Lancaster, PA (onsite only)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Pay: Starting at $50,000, based on experience
  • Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; vacation and sick days
