Are you detail-oriented and passionate about financial accuracy? Our client in Mountville, PA is seeking a temporary Credit Specialist for an exciting opportunity with a reliable and analytical professional to join their credit team. In this role, you’ll support with credit decisions, help build strong customer relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role will report to the Credit and AR Supervisor.

What You’ll Do

• Review customer credit applications for completeness and accuracy
• Gather and analyze credit reports, financial statements, and other documents to evaluate risk
• Contact customers, credit references, and banks to verify information
• Make credit recommendations and communicate decisions clearly to internal teams and clients
• Maintain confidential credit files and database records
• Support ongoing account management and process improvements

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience as a credit specialist or similar role (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Office suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Basic understanding of accounting and credit reports

Job Details

• Job Type: Temporary
• Pay Rate: $25-$29/hr (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Location: Mountville, PA (Business casual dress code)
