TriStarr's client located in Manheim is actively seeking an energetic and tech-savvy individual to join their team as a temporary Order Entry Specialist. In this role, you will handle the processing and acknowledgment of customer orders via various communication channels, ensuring accuracy and prompt responses. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch support to customers regarding order status, product availability, and logistics while fostering professional relationships with both customers and the internal sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and enter customer orders into Oracle, ensuring data integrity.
- Review orders for accuracy, including pricing, delivery dates, and product details.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order issues and expedite shipments.
- Confirm order details with customers, including pricing, shipping dates, and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of customer orders and communications.
- Support the sales team by identifying when customer issues require their attention.
Qualifications:
- Proficient communication skills for interacting with customers, sales reps, and vendors via email, phone, and other platforms.
- Strong mathematical ability to calculate orders, discounts, and shipping rates, and to interpret data accurately.
- Familiarity with Google platforms and Oracle software is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple orders and customer interactions efficiently.
Physical Demands:
- Regular sitting and communication via phone or email.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and perform light lifting (up to 25 pounds).
EDUCATION: High school diploma; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical school or college degree preferred.
YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of 1 year in a related role or field.
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temporary
START DATE: Asap (pending interviews)
PAY RATE: $22.50
HOURS: Full-time; 8am-4:30pm (30 min lunch) or 7:30am-4:30pm (1 hr lunch)
DRESS CODE: Business Casual
