Accounting Manager – Inventory

Key Responsibilities

• Lead inventory period and quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Oversee store inventory reconciliation, collaborating with merchandising, store operations, and distribution centers
• Mentor and develop a team of staff accountants, fostering analytical thinking and professional growth
• Partner with cross-functional teams and departments to support major projects, testing, and system stability
• Work closely with auditors to meet reporting deadlines and prepare audit schedules
• Provide weekly inventory analysis and forecast adjustments to improve gross margin and financial insights

Qualifications / What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with retail or inventory experience
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Strong analytical mindset with a questioning attitude
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting, and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment

Job Details

• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Pay / Salary: $85,000K + depending on experience, plus benefits and incentives
• Hours / Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
• Location: Onsite in Sunbury, PA (some limited travel)
