TriStarr's client is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Bilingual Banking Specialist to join their team at a new location in Lancaster City! This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community while providing exceptional service and financial education. You will engage with customers, helping them achieve their financial well-being, and mentor students at a community education center.
As a Banking Specialist, you will collaborate with the business segment leader to develop and execute sales plans, community outreach programs, and financial education initiatives. You will also be responsible for assisting with branch operations, ensuring compliance with policies, and contributing to the achievement of both individual and branch goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Foster strong relationships with customers through proactive sales and service initiatives, enhancing their financial well-being.

Mentor and educate students at a community education center location.

Collaborate with a team of financial partners to provide a holistic approach to financial wellness.

Support community outreach efforts, including financial seminars and workshops.

Engage with local businesses and families to offer homeownership education and wealth-building opportunities.

Handle daily operational tasks efficiently and accurately.

Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, identifying and mitigating risk in transactions.

Open and maintain consumer and business accounts, resolve banking issues, and process transactions.

Represent the bank in community events and networking opportunities.

Execute on a strategy to enhance the overall customer experience in both the branch and the community.
Education & Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Banking experience in a customer-facing role is required.
-
1-2 years of mortgage loan origination or mortgage processing experience is a plus.
Skills Required:

NMLS number required or must obtain within 6 months.

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and listening skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong relationship-building skills and a self-motivated team player.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Flexibility to attend evening events for networking, seminars, and presentations.
Job Type:
Permanent position.
Start Date:
ASAP, pending interviews.
Pay Rate:
$21-$28/hr dependent upon experience, plus an excellent benefits package
Hours:
-
In-Office: 9 AM – 2 PM
-
Community Engagement: 2 PM – 5 PM (flexible hours, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter)
Dress Code:
Business Casual (with occasional Business Professional for events)
