Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for supporting busy teams? We are seeking an experienced IT Generalist to join a dynamic team in Lancaster, PA. This fully on-site role offers the opportunity to work across multiple IT functions, support end users, and contribute to small- to mid-sized IT projects in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do
As an IT Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting IT infrastructure, systems, and end users. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with end users to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network equipment.
  • Administering user accounts, permissions, and profiles in Windows domain and Google Workspace environments.
  • Monitoring service desk tickets and ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
  • Assisting with planning, implementing, and maintaining IT systems to support business operations.
  • Maintaining documentation for IT systems, including network maps, asset inventories, and licenses.
  • Supporting basic cybersecurity measures and backup/recovery strategies.
  • Providing onboarding and training for new employees on IT tools and platforms.
  • Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and IT industry trends.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has hands-on IT experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Requirements include:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and basic cybersecurity practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • ​​Hands-on experience with:
    • Windows Server & Active Directory
    • Google Workspace & Microsoft 365
    • Network monitoring and performance optimization
    • Helpdesk/ticketing platforms (FreshService preferred)
    • Fortinet firewalls, Synology NAS, and Apple device management
    • Asset management software

Job Details:

  • Assignment Type: Temporary (3-4 months)
  • Location: Lancaster, PA (onsite only; remote/hybrid not available)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4pm
  • Pay Rate: $22-$28/hr.
  • Start Date: ASAP
