We often discuss the qualities of a great candidate, but what qualities set a top recruiter apart? A top recruiter is like the perfect dinner party host. They listen attentively, introduce people that share interests but may not have met, and are ready to solve challenges gracefully. We find that the most successful recruiters employ these communication and interpersonal skills:

When interviewing candidates, a top recruiter is able to find those hidden nuggets of experience and personality. With employers, listening carefully can help a top recruiter get a better understanding of the company culture and the challenges of the role their client needs to fill.
